Hairenomics Mane Bar expands with new beauty store on West Street

Hairenomics Mane Bar, which opened in 2017, recently announced the addition of an additional beauty supply store on West Street called Boujee Beauty Supply.

Owner Tamara Laureus, who has more than twenty years of experience styling hair for editorial shoots, fashion shows and celebrities, said in a statement emailed to Green pointers:

“2020 started off as an exciting year for me, I had so many plans for the show. We were preparing for our annual Customer Appreciation Day before we heard the news of the closure. would be closed for about two weeks. I was confused and didn’t know which way to turn. I decided to keep my living room since the building was letting people get out of their lease without penalties. I thought to myself that I I had worked too hard to let go. I had money saved for a rainy day. I decided to expand because of my customers. I heard them complaining about not having a product store of beauty and how inconvenient it was for them to have to travel such a distance to get products or hair extensions.

Boujee Beauty Supply will carry luxury products such as Kenra, Olaplex, Matrix and even products for men.

“Our products cater to all hair textures,” Laureus said. “We also have our wig specialist who helps customers purchase, customize and style their wigs.” Boujee Beauty Supply also has its own line of extensions called Boujee Beauty Hair.

The store recently held a soft opening on Tuesday, February 22. While still waiting for some final touches to arrive, the store is ready for business and customers can now shop.

Hairenomics at 69 West Street is a full-service hair salon, and they also offer other beauty services such as makeup and skin care for special occasions. You can check them out on their website here.
