What services do your LA customers demand?
They are obviously looking for a classic blonde. In London, I think they’re a bit more experimental. But in LA that’s also a thing, that’s why we wanted to be there. … What we’re really seeing are more of the reds, the bleached bits, the streaks.
Who is your hair icon?
I always say it’s my mother [Jerry Hall], but really Alexis is my hair icon because she taught me how to do my own hair, cut my own hair, style my own hair. Plus, Grace Jones is a great one.
Trend you haven’t tried yet?
I really want to make blue everywhere. I have thought about it a lot but it is the longest to come out. I made the rainbow dip-dye for the launch and Alex planned it perfectly to be washed in time so I could get back to work.
